Today is Day 1 of chemo for Lyndsay, who is fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma. There is a lot of worry in the unknown, but she has faith in God's will and she is going to fight this with everything she has. She will be receiving her cancer fighting medicine for 2 to 4 hours today. After receiving the chemo she will probably be really tired today, but the next few days she will probably be feeling sick from it all.
Keep Lyndsay in your prayers today. Ask the Lord to give her strength and endurance through this time of fighting. Ask the Lord for peace as this is now becoming "real". "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4:6. Pray for the will of God, because really he is the Maker and Creator of it all. Praise the LORD because Lyndsay is fearfully and wonderfully made; for His works are wonderful, I know that full well!
