Loving like He Loves

I don't think we will ever completely understand true love until we are brought before our Father in heaven, but we are called to “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." and "be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.". I think when we see our Father we will be instantly hit with this love and we will greive of the times we were not so loving. I know sometimes it is hard to be loving towards others or even love one another, but we are called to do so no matter what... "To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” I think the only way we as sinners can love is through our faith and love of our Father above "Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other."

Lyndsay is greiving over a few things that she was told by doctors she would not be able to do or make happen after her chemo treatment, but truthfully this is in God's hands and Lyndsay knows this. But, it hurts when you still have desires in your heart and then they are instantly shattered by words. But, as she is greiving she is not letting it take over her life. She is pushing on and continuing with life. Lyndsay was having a reaction to one of the medicines she was given and she had no idea it was a reaction. All she knew was that her body hurt, she couldn't get comfortable, and that she was SO tired. Thankfully she called the doctor this weekend and informed them on how she was feeling and they told her that this was not normal and they called in a perscription for her to help with her symptoms. Praise the Lord!! She is feeling so much better and she sounded so much more like herself today.

I am praying hearts can be mended and words can be softened as we all go through this with Lyndsay. I pray we take hold of life and love like we were called to love. I pray for Lyndsay as her heart is greiving, but I pray the Lord will reaffirm to her this is not the end and that He has got this.
